Top Ten Ways to FINALLY Get Rid of PMS for Good!
Jeanine Byers

Is this your experience?

“irritability, fatigue, anxiety, nervous tension, mood swings,
depression, feeling overwhelmed or out of control, physical
symptoms of swelling or bloating of the abdomen or extremities,
appetite changes and food cravings, aches, and breast tenderness
and other symptoms that occur for several days to 2 weeks before
your period.”

Some studies suggest that as many as 75% of women with regular
menstrual cycles experience some symptoms of premenstrual
syndrome (PMS).

Here’s what you can do to feel better next time…

1) Consider a diet that’s lower in fat, and focuses on foods like
lean fish, legumes, whole grains and high-fiber fruits and
veggies.

2) Switch to herbal tea—caffeine aggravates symptoms

3) Using a carrier oil, massage the following essential oils into
the solar plexus (tummy area) and on the inside of the ankles:
clary sage, sandalwood, rose, orange, yarrow, blue tansy,
jasmine, ylang ylang and vetiver.

4) Use this Jin Shin Jyutsu technique for irritability: hold the
middle finger of one hand inside the other hand (wrap your hand
around it) for 5 minutes. Isn’t it funny that that would be the
finger for irritability?

5) Take a bath or a foot soak with Epsom salts or sea salts, to
help with water retention.

6) Take some quiet time for yourself, and do some meditating or
journaling. Ask yourself the following questions…

What do you need from yourself that you’re not getting?
What do you need from others?

“Could "PMS" be caused or exacerbated by the tension resulting
from a woman's overriding her desire for quiet during the time
leading up to her period, due to the belief that she can't alter
her focus on others' needs in order to center on her own?”

--Peggy Elam

7) Take a daily supplement containing at least 1200mg. of
calcium. This may greatly reduce mood swings, and depression.
Adding magnesium (500mg) may reduce sugar cravings.

8) Supplement with evening primrose oil, 1500mg/day, will help to
reduce symptoms, especially breast tenderness.

9) Vitamin B6 has been recommended for the mood changes and
tension that is experienced with PMS.

10) Taking a natural progesterone cream has been found to help
alleviate PMS symptoms. Consult your health practitioner to
determine if that would help in your case, and to decide on an
appropriate dose.
